LOHEM has a vibrant outreach ministry that does just that – reach out. The outreach ministry is made up of 5 arms which all maintain some autonomy but yet all set out to achieve the same goal of LOHEM to evangelize in their own special way.
Our outreach program is structured as follows:
Enugu Outreach Post:
Enugu is one of the 36 States in Nigeria, (West Africa). It is situated in the South-East part of Nigeria and it is well known for its reputable Igbo heritage. It is here that LOHEM’s Outreach Centre is strongly established. This post is actively involved in Prison outreaches, visitations, crusades, consoling of the bereaved and supporting the less privileged such as widows and those who are physically challenged. This arm is also mandated to organize outreaches in villages, market squares, tertiary institutions
Radio Programs: (“Evangelism Quarter-Hour” with Dr. (Mrs) Joy Agbazue):
“Evangelism Quarter-Hour” is LOHEM’s radio program anchored by Dr. (Mrs) Joy Agbazue, the founder of LOHEM. The radio program has been running for over 20 years on radio stations in Enugu State, Nigeria, reaching several parts of South-East Nigeria with the gospel of Christ. You can follow LOHEM’s radio messages with Dr. (Mrs) Joy Agbazue on the following Radio Stations: Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Enugu State Broadcasting Service (ESBS) and Dream FM.

Online Ministration:
As the world continues to advance so does the propagation of the gospel. LOHEM is in no way left out. It runs a vibrant and consistent flow of freshly inspired messages like the river to the thirsty soul. There are streams of fire-branded messages that reach out to the people from supporting platforms such as:
- YouTube messages from Dr. (Mrs) Joy Agbazue, the founder of LOHEM.
- The Alter of Answers Prayer Ministry on TIK TOK facilitated by Dr. (Mrs) Lilian Obenwa-Agbazue (daughter-in-law of the LOHEM founder). The Alter of Answers has over 26,000 followers on social media.
LOHEM Leadership Development Centre:
This Centre is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and though it seems far away from Enugu, it is an arm of LOHEM which equally shares LOHEM’s ideals and statutes. Equipped with retreat facilities, LOHEM Christian Leadership Centre affiliates itself with The Afropolitan to bring LOHEM’s objectives to fruition. The Centre runs certain pertinent programs such as retreat programs for couples, men and women, holiday camps for kids, as well as Christian seminars and trainings, soup kitchen outreaches and so forth. All fall in line with LOHEM’s commitment to evangelism.
LOHEM Humanitarian Support:
LOHEM provides humanitarian support through the following independent platforms:
- The Joy Agbazue Foundation, which is principally sponsored by the founder of LOHEM, Dr. (Mrs.) Joy Agbazue, but which also attracts funding from her friends, family members, and supporters. These funds are mainly used as grants and palliatives to help indigent folks in South-East Nigeria survive harsh economic conditions.
- HELLO International (based in New Jersey, USA, and led by Dr. (Ms.) Nkiru Agbazue-Udodi (daughter of the LOHEM founder) provides global humanitarian aid; feeds the hungry; and visits and ministers to the sick, widows, elderly, and orphans.
